Having known Thyra for around 75 years, about 35 years ago she contacted me to say that Eamon was going to be in Toronto on business. I had heard about him through my family and looked forward to meeting him form the first time. He contacted me and we spent,a highly amusing evening,together, as one would suspect with Eamon .....he then became a very dear friend. 

In October 2000 we all 4 went off on a holiday in rural France and Eamon was the navigator which proved to be highly amusing!  We wined and dined at lots of delightful places and then would get the cards out for a game of bridge. We certainly had many funny experiences to tell my father on our return to Longdon Croft.

James and I have spent many wonderful  times over the years in his company and playing bridge. A very special time in Vancouver when they came to visit us. He will be greatly missed when we return to the UK and leaves us remembering so many happy times together.
